the home owner thought there might be some urine down there so we brought in a black light.
urine shows up white under a black light.
what we saw was not a little urine. it was the craters of the moon. there was urine in the spots he suspected. there was also urine everywhere else.
there was so much pee he thought I was making it up. but he saw it with his own eyes.
"we'll have to think about it and get back to you," which loosely translates into ,"you're too expensive and we will shop around for someone to do this job cheaper." we hate to lose a job but even worse was what they will find out the hard way when they go cheap. the guy didn't do the job right and now they get to spend even more money. not with me of course because they'll be too embarrassed to admit they chose poorly.
you've been around long enough to realize you get what you pay for. no one wants to pay too much but what's worse is paying too little then having to pay a second time.
