we tore up their check which was sizable, gave it back to them and tried to once again to explain how sucking water out of wet carpets does not give you a 100% dry basement. no one in their right mind would think this but they did.
The home owner's eyes got really large and he got quiet when I handed back his torn up check.
he got quiet when he realized I was not a bait and switch company like he thought i was.
would I bait and switch guy work for hours and then give you back all your money? No.
my chief concern was for this family's health and safety. mold can begin to grow after 72 hours and it was way, way past that point when we got out there. But some people know better.

I urged these people to seek other certified, professional water restoration experts and get a second and third opinion. Honestly, our chief and primary goal is not to take you for a ride, but to help you through your water loss.
